The James Cowen Radio Show features music, chat, and different features each week and is broadcast every Sunday from 10AM til 12PM. The show is broadcast on NE1fm 102.5, a community radio station, which has a variety of different programmes, and broadcasts on FM in the Newcastle and Gateshead areas, as well as online via the stations (website ). Hosted by a young budding radio presenter, James Cowen, is gaining some great experience from broadcasting the show. The show occasionally has co-presenter, George Kasfikis. Each week James features a variety of music for all ages in addition to interviews with live studio guests, both musical and otherwise. Guests have including local music talent, such as Newcastle-based band 'The Human Experience' and Soul singer Sam Dickinson. James also takes listeners requests and dedications, as well as mentioning what’s on at the weekend in the North East.
